The Worry Worm

This is me and Wormy

My first day at Give Kids the World Village we found Wormy! Dad thought he spied some trash on the ground, but I knew what it was!

Before going to the village mom and I had read about someone leaving worry worms around for kiddos like me to find. I didn’t really think that I would find one, I was pretty excited to find it.

This is the card that came with Wormy

While I was staying at Banyan Park, I made a hotel for my 2 Mickeys, Minnie, and Wormy.

Now that I’m back home, mom and I have started making some worms to share. Our town has lots of cool bronze statues around, those are the first places I’m planning to stash a worm. If you find one, I hope you’ll comment on this post 🙂

The first one I hid!

Sunday night we met with our group from church at a park in town. This statue was the perfect place to hide the first worm mom made. I wonder if it’s still there?

The next 2 worms to hide.

We have a few more that we’re working on, I’m looking forward to stashing them around town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Thank you for sharing!!

I am the founder of Sofia’s Angels Foundation and started the hiding of the worry worms , when we were on my son’s Make a Wish trip in February. I have been able to continue to make and send them to GKTW for them to hide.

Seeing the impact it has made, and continues to, I thank you for continuing this incredible random act of kindness.

  2. That is pretty interesting and very nice thing to do. I have never heard about them, but hopefully the people who need them the most find them. Love you Aunt Clar

    1. What a great idea! I know there are many people, both kids and adults, who will be so happy to find these hidden treasures.
